Congratulations to the Inn at Fossebridge for winning our POTY award for 2018. The Craven Arms, Brockhampton, and the Eight Bells, Chipping Campden, were joint runners-up.

Our walk on Saturday February 3rd was based at the Donnington’s Queens Head pub in Stow on the Wold. The walk route took us pass the Brewery itself. One of the resident peacocks was admiring the view on the roof. Please click on the photo right for a full report.


The first walk of 2018 (Number 81) was on Sarturday 6th January, and based on the Mouse Trap Inn, Bourton On The Water. Not surprisingly, plenty of water featured on this walk. Please click on the photo of the Mill at Lower Slaughter for a full report.  



  The last walk of 2017 (No. 80) was based on Donnington’s Black Horse Pub in Naunton, on December 2nd, 2017. Thirteen walkers took part in a walk lead by Martin Jones. Please click on the photo right for a full report. This shows the group outside the pub, before setting off.



We don’t often see the art of Topiary on our walks, but the latest one, centered on the New Inn at Willersey, saw a good example. Our 79th walk took place on Saturday 4th November. Please click on the photo for a full report.



This was the way sound was amplified in the days when mechanics ruled the world. A highlight on our Walk No.78. This was on Saturday 7th October, and was based on the Mechanical Music Museum in Northleach. Please click photo for a full report.
